With the win, USC is now 5-1 on the season and 2-1 in the Pac-10. Stanford falls to 2-2 and 0-2.

It's USC's 700th win all time. The Trojans are now 700-297-54 (69.2%) in their football history.

Tonight's attendance was 68,341. It's the largest attendance for a Pac-10 home opener at USC since 1980.

USC has now won 12 consecutive games in the Coliseum.

At 5-1, USC is off to its best start since the 1995 team started 6-0. The Trojans have won 13 of their last 14 games.

USC has now scored at least 20 points in 19 consecutive games. It has scored at least 30 points in 13 of its last 14 games (the only exception was a 23 point total in a shutout win against Auburn this year). On the season, USC is now averaging 38.5 points per game on offense.

USC's last 10 wins have been by at least 17 points. Four of USC's wins this season have come by at least 20 points. In USC's five wins this season, it is beating teams by an average of 22 points per game.

USC's 41 first half points were its most in a half since also scoring 41 in the first half against Hawaii in 1999.

Stanford came into the game allowing just 56 yards rushing per game, but USC rushed for a season-high 220 yards.

USC tailback LenDale White rushed for 108 yards on 23 carries, becoming the first freshman in Trojan history (redshirt or true) to have back-to-back 100-yard rushing games. In the last two games, he is averaging 124 yards and 5.8 ypc. On the season, he has 318 yards and is averaging 5.2 ypc.

White also scored two touchdowns, giving him seven touchdowns in the last four games. He has scored at least one touchdown in each of the last four games and is tied with Mike Williams for the team lead.

Mike Williams caught three touchdowns and now has 21 in his 19-game career. Only Kevin Williams (25), Johnnie Morton and R. Jay Soward (23 each) have more career touchdown catches than Williams. His three touchdowns tied the USC single-game touchdown reception mark shared by nine Trojans (including himself). He has six multi-touchdown games in that span and now has 120 catches in his career, good for 9th on the all-time USC receiving chart.

Williams also tallied his 9th-career 100-yard game with 129 yards on seven catches. He has four 100-yard receiving games this season.

Keary Colbert caught a pass for the 29th consecutive game. He now has 167 career catches, passing John Jackson into fourth on the all-time USC chart.

In his last two games, USC quarterback Matt Leinart has completed 31 of 50 passes (61%) for 549 yards and five touchdowns with just one interception. At the halfway point of his first regular season as the USC starting quarterback, Leinart is now 103 for 174 (.591%) for 1,473 yards, with 13 touchdowns and seven interceptions.

Kenechi Udeze forced two fumbles (to go with three sacks) and now has 11 forced fumbles in his 31-game career. He led the Pac-10 in forced fumbles last season with six.

Sophomore cornerback William Buchanon had his first-career interception in the fourth quarter.

Sophomore punter Tom Malone, who led the nation in punting with a 48.7 average coming into this game, upped his average to an even 49 yards per kick by averaging 53 yards on two punts.
