The Stanford men's and women's varsity eights both climbed in the national polls released, March 6. In the men's USRowing Collegiate Poll, Stanford clawed their way from No. 14 all the way to No. 5 after the strong showing at the San Diego Crew Classic, April 3.
In the women's Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association/USRowing Poll, Stanford also moved up No. 10 from last week's No. 13 ranking.
"I want to congratulate our student-athletes," said director of rowing and men's head coach Craig Amerkhanian. "The squads have worked very hard to get where they are today, but they know there is more hard work ahead if they will attain their season-end goals."
