Athens, Ga. - Both Stanford doubles pairs picked up two-set wins today to advance to the semifinals of the NCAA Championship this afternoon at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex at the University of Georgia.

Co-captains Alice Barnes and Erin Burdette posted a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Virginia Commonwealth's Olga Borisova and Marianna Yuferova, while Amber Liu and Anne Yelsey tallied a 6-3, 6-0 win versus fourth-seeded Daniella Bercek and Riza Zalameda of UCLA.

Tomorrow, Barnes and Burdette will face Ana Cetnik and Story Tweedie-Yates of TCU. Tweedie-Yates, who played her first two years at Stanford before transferring to TCU this season, and Cetnik are the first-ever Texas Christian doubles team to advance to the NCAA Semifinals.

On the other side of the bracket, Liu and Yelsey will take on second-seeded Audra Cohen and Cristelle Grier of Northwestern.

Both matches will begin at 11 a.m. (ET), with the winners moving on to the championship match on Saturday at 1 p.m. (ET).
