San Jose, Calif. - The Stanford men's soccer team (0-0-1) and San Jose State (0-0-1) battled to a 0-0 double-overtime tie in the season-opening match for both teams tonight in Spartan Stadium.

Credited with two saves on the night, Stanford goalkeeper Andrew Kartunen recorded his first shutout of the year, looking to continue his dominance in the net.
