Box Score Postgame Press Conference Back On The Court Quickly: Cal State Bakersfield on Tuesday, 7:30 p.m.

STANFORD, Calif.- Quincy Pondexter scored 20 points, including a pair of key free throws down the stretch, and No. 22 Washington beat Stanford 75-68 Sunday.

Isaiah Thomas added 17 points for the Huskies (17-6, 8-3 Pac-10), who ended a 15-game losing streak at Stanford. Jon Brockman added 13 points and 12 rebounds, and Venoy Overton had 11 points.

Landry Fields scored a career-high 22 points and had 10 rebounds to lead the Cardinal (14-7, 4-7), who have lost four of their last five. Anthony Goods added 12 points and Jeremy Green had 11.

The Huskies overcame a 10-point deficit early in the first half to take a 35-34 halftime lead. A 12-0 run gave Stanford a 25-15 advantage with 8:48 remaining in the first half.

But the Cardinal made two of their final nine shots and committed six turnovers the remainder of the half, allowing Washington to go into the locker room with a slight edge.

Stanford made a run to close within 64-60 on a breakaway dunk by Josh Owens with 4:01 left. Pondexter followed with a pair of free throws -- he was nine of 10 from the foul line -- to quiet the crowd.

The Cardinal then closed to within 66-63 on Fields' jumper with 2:18 left. Thomas followed with a leaner and the Cardinal never got any closer.
