North Carolina head coach Brian Kalbas
"We haven't seen them (Vanderbilt) before but we knew they were a very good team. We got off to a bit of a slow start in doubles but fought back and got some momentum going into singles. We won all of the first sets and a lot of tiebreakers. It might have looked like and easy match but it wasn't."

Vanderbilt head coach Geoff Macdonald
"They won all the tiebreakers today. The teams are real similar in that we are both good competitors. I thought the doubles point was important. It gave them some momentum going into singles down at Nos. 5 and 6 and they kind of ran with it from there. If we could have gotten a couple of those first sets, we are still in this match."
