The 13-straight wins ties the longest in school-history (1939-41) and continues to be the nation's longest.
For Andrew Luck it was his fifth career 300-yard passing game and school-record 25th career win (25-5). The 423 yards at Arizona, 2009 was a career-best.
Stepfan Taylor's first-quarter touchdown run was the 22nd of his career and moved him ahead of Mike Mitchell (1993-97) for sole possession of No. 6 on the school's all-time list. Kerry Carter (1999-02) is next with 23 TD's.
The Cardinal continue to have never trailed this season, stopping UCLA on the one-yard line last week and this week against Colorado, Max Bergen with a blocked field goal and 75-yard return with 11:01 in the first.
Colorado missed two field goal attempts today and on the season, opponents have hit just 2-of-10 field goals this season. Bergen's block was the first of the season for the Cardinal.
With Blake Lueders' sack in the first quarter, and AJ Tarpley's sack assist in the second, nine different players have a sack this year. Overall Stanford has 17 sacks.
Michael Thomas had the Cardinal's first interception of the year, in the fourth quarter, in the 172nd passing attempt of the season.
It was the fourth time in five games Stanford had allowed a TD or less (all except for UCLA).
With Corey Gatewood catching a pass tonight, he became the 15th player to catch a pass this season.
Griff Whalen set his career-high his receiving yards (was 78 receiving yards at Oregon last year) and the 30-yard TD pass was a career-long.
Stanford is now 20-2 in the last 22 home games (winning nine straight), outscoring opponents 150-29 (48-7) at home this season.
30-13 over three-plus years and 25-6 dating back to the 2009 campaign. The 5-0 start by David Shaw is the best start to a Stanford career since Chuck Taylor win his first nine in 1951.
The crowd of 50,360 was another sellout, the sixth sellout in new Stanford Stadium history.
