STANFORD, Calif. - The Stanford synchronized swimming team will compete at the 2012 U.S. Nationals, held Apr. 12-14 at the Kino Aquatic Center in Mesa, Ariz. It marks the final competition of the season for the Cardinal.
More than 100 elite athletes will vie for national titles in the solo, duet and team events in the nation's most prestigious competition. This year's championships will mark the 67th year of national competition in the duet and team events and the 63rd year of solo competition.
The Championships begin with the preliminary rounds on Thursday, Apr. 12. Thude technical compeition will take place on Friday, Apr. 13 and the finals will be held on Saturday, Apr. 14.
Stanford seniors Alex Bollaidlaw and Koko Urata will be competing with the Cardinal for the final time in their careers.
