Tournament and Event Sponsorships

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENT

Stanford Women's Basketball hosts an annual Stanford Invitational, taking place at Maples Pavilion in November. Each day of the two-day tournament will feature two games. Previous opponents have included Kansas State, Temple and Princeton. This is an opportunity for a sponsor gain great exposure to the Stanford community and support women's athletics.

Sample Sponsorship:

VIP Tickets: 200 tickets for each game of the tournament. Courtside Seats: 2 courtside seats for each game. Hospitality: Party for 25 of sponsor's guests prior to each day of the event. Includes a Coaches Chalk Talk, food and beverages. Basketball Program Ad: Full season, full-page, 4-color ad in the Stanford Women's Basketball game day program. Advertising: Prominent sponsor name/logo placement in all tournament promotions, including Television, Radio, Internet and Newspaper advertising. Logo Usage: The right to use the Stanford "Block S" logo in advertising and promotions related to the tournament. Subject to Stanford Marketing's approval. In Game Contests: Sponsorship of an on-court or program related contest to be determined during a time-out or break in each game. P.A./Message Board: Sponsor will receive recognition through two (2) public address and two (2) message board during each game of the tournament. Retail Promotion: Sponsor will have the right to run a retail promotion surrounding the tournament. Honorary VIP: A sponsor representative will be an honorary VIP for the championship game. VIP will participate in the awarding of the championship trophy at the end of the tournament.

TRACK AND FIELD

In a movement to make Stanford the center of track and field in the United States, many of the nation's premier track and field events will be held at Stanford's Cobb Track and Angell Field over the next two years. The audience reached through one of these events will be extensive-the U.S. Track and Field Open will be broadcast nationally by CBS and a sell-out crowd of 7,500 is expected each day. Expect to see some of the World's top track and field athletes: past participants include Maurice Green, Marion Jones, Stacy Dragila and Regina Jacobs.

Sample Sponsorship:

Sponsor name and logo with hyper link on the sponsorship page of the events Web sites. Sponsor name and logo on sponsor recognition page in the events programs. One (1) sponsor-provided banner board to be displayed at the Cobb Track and Angell Field. Banner positions on the track must be filled with 30x12 inch boards produced by USA Track and Field at the expense of the Sponsor. Banners of different dimensions than these will have high visibility exposure positions off the ground level of the track. Ten (10) VIP passes to each championship meet. 1 half-page BW ad in event program. Two (2) public address announcements during the event.

Inclusion in all mailings and press announcements promoting the event.
