Adam Norton returns for his second season in the Stanford lacrosse program after joining the staff as an Assistant Coach on Aug. 24, 2007 and later being named co-Head Coach on Feb. 25, 2007. Norton spent the 2007 season as a Volunteer Assistant coach. Norton brings a wealth of knowledge to the Farm as a goalkeeping coach, and will lend his energies to film analysis, and other various projects including helping to host tournaments, camps, and clinics.Norton will bring an energy staff and will be able to bring lots of knowledge and the ability to see the game from the goal out. He will be an asset to the program as a goalkeeper coach and will run all aspects of the program with fellow co-head coach Jen Kasper.

A four-year starting goalkeeper at Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pa., Norton comes to Stanford with a wealth of playing experience. At Dickinson, Norton captained the team and was named Most Valuable Player as a senior in 1997. As a junior, he held the top single-game Division III save mark and set a Centennial Conference record for single-game goals allowed the following season. Norton has also been active on the club lacrosse scene since 1991 as both a player and coach.

The Washington, D.C. native boasts a significant coaching background as well, having worked at various camps and clinics around the country. He served as an assistant coach at Catholic University from 1998-99 and has served as an assistant for a number of high school programs. Most recently, Norton served as an assistant for the girls' varsity at the Bullis School and as an assistant at St. Andrew's Episcopal. Norton was also a selector for the 2006 National Tournament and the Under Armour Girls All-Star Team.Norton is currently the Owner/Director of the Core 4 Goalie School, originated in Washington D.C. His company has specialized in individual and small group goalkeeper coaching. He resides in Redwood City, Calif.
