Lee, NO. 15 Stanford Kills Ducks With Three-Point Bullet in OT, 72-69

EUGENE, Ore. -- Arthur Lee hit a three-pointer with 1:25 left in overtime andnumber 15 Stanford hung on for a 72-69 victory over number 24Oregon in a Pac-10 game.

Tim Young had 20 points, including the last four in regulation,and pulled down a career-high 21 rebounds for for Stanford(11-2, 4-1 Pac-10).

Jamal Lawrence led Oregon (10-3, 1-3) with 29 points and KyleMilling added 13 points and 12 rebounds for the Ducks, who losttheir third straight game after a 10-0 start.

Lee's three-pointer from the left baseline gave the Cardinal a71-68 edge. Milling made one-of-two free throws with 2:42remaining in the overtime, but Brevin Knight got the point backfrom the foul line with 17 seconds left and Stanford held on.

Knight had 14 points and nine assists for Stanford, which shotjust 35 percent (27-for-78) from the field and 47 percent(7-for-15) from the free throw line.

Knight moved into sixth place on the Pac-10's all-time assistslist with 646, took over second place in the conference'sall-time steals list with 248, and moved into 10th place on theschool's all-time points list with 1,431.

Kris Weems also had 14 points and Lee added 12 for the Cardinal,who outrebounded Oregon, 52-34.

Jamar Curry had 12 points for the Ducks, who shot 39 percent(23-for-59) from the floor.

Oregon had a 58-50 lead with 4:20 remaining in regulation, butYoung scored on a goaltending call. Lawerence countered with afree throw, but Knight hit a three-pointer and fed Weems for alayup with 2:53 on the clock, cutting the deficit to 59-57.

Milling his a five-footer at 2:27 to extend the lead back tofour points, but Young made two free throws 18 seconds later andscored on his second tip attempt with 97 seconds remaining,forcing the extra session.
