CHICAGO – Henry Anderson was selected in the third round of the 2015 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts. Anderson was the 29th pick of the round and 93rd overall.

Anderson was followed by teammate Ty Montgomery, selected 94th overall by the Green Bay Packers. It marked the first time two Cardinal players were picked back-to-back since 2005, when Alex Smith (71st overall) and Stanley Wilson (72nd overall) were chosen in the third round.

The Atlanta, Georgia, native was an SI.com All-American honorable selection in 2014 at defensive end.

The fifth-year senior played in 13 games in 2014 and recorded 65 tackles (40 solo), 15.0 tackles for loss, 8.5 sacks and two pass breakups.

Anderson was named to the All-Pac-12 first team and Pac-12 All-Academic first team, and was selected Capital One Academic All-District. The political science major was a Phil Steele All-Pac-12 first team pick, Anderson began the season on the Hendricks Award, Bednarik Award, Nagurski Award and Outland Trophy watch lists.

Anderson started all 13 games and registered a game-high 11 tackles against Utah, contributing 5.5 tackles for loss and 3.0 sacks. He also posted eight tackles and one tackle for loss against Arizona State, seven tackles against Notre Dame, and six tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss and 1.0 quarterback sack against UCLA.

As a senior, Anderson rebounded from a knee injury against Army and played in eight games, collecting 19 tackles (eight solo), 4.0 tackles for loss and 3.0 quarterback sacks. He had five tackles against Oregon, four tackles against Notre Dame, three tackles and one sack against Arizona State in the Pac-12 Championship Game, and two tackles and one sack against Michigan State in the Rose Bowl.

In 2013, Anderson was named All-Pac-12 honorable mention, Pac-12 All-Academic first team and Capital One Academic All-District. He was also picked to the Lott IMPACT Award watch list.

As a junior, Anderson started all 14 games and recorded 50 tackles (27 solo), 16.0 tackles for loss, 6.0 sacks and five pass breakups. He had a season-high seven tackles and 2.5 tackles for loss against Oregon and was selected All-Pac-12 second team and Pac-12 All-Academic first team and Capital One All-District. Anderson was also named the recipient of the Tommy Vardell Award for excellence in athletics and academics.

Anderson appeared in all 13 games and finished with six tackles in 2011.
