FRESNO, Calif. - Redshirt sophomores Connor Schram (125 pounds) and Garet Krohn (184 pounds) placed first at the Roadrunner Open for the Cardinal, Sunday, in Fresno, California.
Stanford had a total of 11 placewinners, including runner-up finishes by Mason Pengilly (133 pounds), Isaiah Locsin (141 pounds) and Paul Fox (149 pounds). Also placing for the Cardinal were 184-pounders Thomas Kimbrell (3rd), Peter Galli (4th) and Ryan Davies (6th), 197-pounder Michael Sojka (4th) and heavyweights Trevor Rasmussen (4th) and Josh Marchok (6th).
Up next, Stanford plays host to No. 1 Penn State in its home opener on Sunday, Nov. 22. The dual will be televised live on the Pac-12 Networks.
