STANFORD, Calif. – Seventeen Stanford runners were recognized on the Pac-12 All-Academic team for cross country.
Heading the Stanford contingent was Cameron Miller, a senior with a double major of history and political science with a 3.71 GPA, who was named to the men’s first team for the second consecutive year.
Stanford placed four runners on the second teams: juniors Sophie Chase and Danielle Katz for the women and sophomore Steven Fahy and junior Jack Keelan for the men. For Chase, Katz, and Keelan, it was their second All-Academic honor.
Overall, the Stanford men placed nine on the Pac-12 All-Academic teams. Four members of the men’s third-place NCAA lineup were among those honored: Keelan, Sean McGorty, Jim Rosa, and Garrett Sweatt.
The Stanford women had eight All-Academic honorees, including five who ran among the Cardinal’s top seven at the NCAA Championships, placing 14th as a team.
