STANFORD, Calif. – Six members of the Stanford men's volleyball team earned 2016 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic accolades, which were announced by the league on Wednesday morning.
Madison Hayden, Conrad Kaminski, Kevin Rakestraw, James Shaw, Alex Stephanus and Gabriel Vega were recognized for their combined work athletically and in the classroom. Stanford’s six all-academic awardees ranked third among MPSF squads. BYU and UC San Diego each had seven honorees.
To be eligible, students must have a 3.00 or better cumulative grade point average, be at least a sophomore academically and have spent at least one academic year at the institution and must have competed in fifty percent of their team’s competition this season.
