Four Ink Deals

STANFORD, Calif. – Four former Stanford student-athletes signed with an NFL team as undrafted rookie free agents.

Kevin Anderson and Devon Cajuste joined the San Francisco 49ers, Brennan Scarlett inked with the Houston Texans and Aziz Shittu signed on with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Anderson, an outside linebacker, appeared in 41 games and registered 124 tackles, 18.5 tackles for loss and 11.0 sacks during his five-year career with the Cardinal.

Shittu, a defensive tackle, appeared in 34 games with 14 starts and totaled 76 tackles, 16 tackles for loss, five sacks and four passes defended on The Farm. He set career highs as a senior in tackles (57), tackles for loss (14.0) and sacks (four), earning All-Pac-12 first team honors.

Scarlett played in 14 games as a fifth-year senior, registering 37 tackles and 8.0 tackles for loss. He also had 5.5 sacks and two pass breakups while earning All-Pac-12 honorable mention.

Cajuste played in 45 career games and registered 90 receptions for 1,589 yards and 14 touchdowns.

The foursome joins a host of Cardinal veterans who also signed as undrafted free agents and currently playing in the NFL, including: Johnson Bademosi (Detroit Lions), Doug Baldwin (Seattle Seahawks), Ryan Hewitt (Cincinnati Bengals), Josh Mauro (Arizona Cardinals), Shayne Skov (San Francisco 49ers), Michael Thomas (Miami Dolphins) and Griff Whalen (Miami Dolphins).
