STANFORD, Calif. – Stanford will pursue a spot at the NCAA Championships this Saturday at 4 p.m. (PT) when it competes at the NCAA Seattle Regional.
 
The Cardinal (9-15) has qualified to nine of the past 10 championships and 13 of the past 16. Stanford has won six regional titles and 49 individual championships in its 39 year history.
 
It is the 34th consecutive season the Cardinal has advanced to the NCAA regional competition.
 
Joining Stanford in Seattle, Washington, will be top-ranked Oklahoma, and (in order of seeding) No. 12 Kentucky, No. 13 Washington, No. 24 Utah State and BYU. The Cardinal and Oklahoma are tied for the most NCAA Championships appearances among the group with 16 apiece.
 
The top two teams in the regional competition will receive a berth to the NCAA Championships in St. Louis, Missouri, on April 14-15.
 
The top two all-around competitors and each event winner not on a qualifying team will also receive a bid to the national championships. The top 36 teams in the country based on their regional qualifying score, earned spots at the regional competition.
 
Stanford's NCAA Regional History
• Stanford has qualified to 34 consecutive regionals and 37 overall.
• The Cardinal has finished in the top two to advance to the NCAA's in nine of the past 10 seasons.
• Under head coach Kristen Smyth, Stanford has won five regional titles, were runners-up seven times, and have a third- and two fourth-place finishes.
• The Cardinal has had 28 gymnasts combine for 49 individual titles, including 44 since 1998.
• Stanford is seeking its seventh NCAA regional title, all since 1999.

Highlights from Stanford's performance at the Pac-12 Championships.

Last Time Out
• Stanford hit 23 of its 24 routines to score a season-best 196.625 and finish first in the first session of the Pac-12 Championships. The Cardinal finished fifth overall.
 
• Elizabeth Price tied for second on floor (9.925) and tied for fifth on vault (9.900) overall.
 
• Nicolette McNair tied for fourth on beam with a career-high 9.925.
 
• Ashley Tai tied for seventh on beam with a career-best 9.900.
 
• Rachel Daum scored a career-high 39.300 in the all-around to finish ninth overall.

Price Continues to Dominate
• Price tied for second on floor (9.925) and tied for fifth on vault (9.900) at the Pac-12 Championships.
 
• Price was named a first-team NACGC/W Regular Season All-American on bars, first-team All-Pac-12 in the vault and bars, and second-team All-Pac-12 on floor.
 
• Price has won at least one event eight of the nine meets she has competed in this season (she missed one competition due to illness and one to injury). Price has won 13 of the 24 events she has competed in this season.
 
• Price has scored 9.900 or higher in 58-of-92 (63 percent) performances during her collegiate career.
