STANFORD, Calif. – No. 19 Stanford remains home this weekend as it sets to host No. 5 USC and No. 10 UCLA. Match times are set for 12 p.m. PT on Friday and 1 p.m. PT on Sunday at the Taube Family Tennis Stadium.

Last Time Out:
The Cardinal (12-4, 2-0 Pac-12) is coming off a perfect four-match week where Stanford topped No. 25 Illinois 4-2 before blanking San Diego State, Arizona and Utah.

All-Time Series History:
USC – A rivalry 50 years in the making, the Trojans lead the series 68-60 dating back to 1967. The Cardinal has faced USC once already this year with Stanford falling 4-3 despite winning the doubles point. Sameer Kumar (13-8 overall, 8-4 duals) and David Wilczynski (15-7 overall, 13-2 duals) were able to claim wins in singles, but the Trojans ultimately prevailed.

UCLA – Another 50 year rivalry exists against the Bruins with UCLA leading the way 69-58. Last time out in Los Angeles, the Bruins took a 4-2 win over Stanford. The Cardinal claimed the doubles point again, but only Brandon Sutter (17-9 overall, 11-3 duals) was able to take a win in singles at the No. 6 position.

Cardinal Honored:
David Wilczynski kept his red-hot season going with a perfect 3-0 week in singles and 4-0 week in doubles with Brandon Sutter.

After his perfect week, the Cardinal was recognized for the second time this season as the Pac-12 Player of the Week.

The week gave Wilczynski 53 career wins as well as 32 dual wins – only eight away from entering the Stanford men's tennis history book. Included on that list are tennis legends such as Roscoe Tanner, Tim Mayotte, Bob Bryan, John Morrissey, Patrick McEnroe and the Taube Family Director of Men's Tennis Paul Goldstein.

The honor is the second in Wilczynski's career as well as the 16th all-time for Stanford.

Fall Recap:
The Cardinal came off another successful fall campaign where Tom Fawcett helped lead the U.S. team to victory for the second straight year at the 2016 Master'U BNP Paribus International Team competition in France in November.

Fawcett also reached the quarterfinals of the ITA All-American Championships and was the consolation runner-up in the National Individual Indoor Championships. He entered the season ranked No. 8 by the ITA.

In addition, Yale Goldberg and Sameer Kumar captured the ITA Northwest Regional doubles title. The duo fought off multiple match points in the championship en route to the title. The team entered the dual season ranked No. 15 by the ITA.

In the final tune-up of the season before dual play, the Cardinal traveled to the Sherwood Collegiate Cup in Thousand Oaks, Calif. Jack Barber, in his first match in 22 months after recovering from surgery, topped No. 11 Gage Brymer of UCLA before finishing as a semifinalist in the singles main draw.
