STANFORD, Calif. – No. 2 Stanford continued its record-setting run of form with a 7-0 win over Yale on Sunday at Laird Q. Cagan Stadium.

The Cardinal's 22 goals in its last three matches is a program record – previously, Stanford scored 19 goals in a three-game run in 1991. Jordan DiBiasi and Catarina Macario each scored a goal and assisted another for Stanford (6-1-0), which improved to 4-0 at home. Seven different players scored goals and as many players recorded one assist, while six players registered at least three shots in the contest.

Stanford outshot the Bulldogs (6-1-0) 37-3, nearly matching its 39-shot total from Friday night's 8-0 win over San Francisco. Alison Jahansouz earned the shutout, finishing with one save for her third clean sheet in four starts on the season.

The Cardinal was held scoreless in the first 25 minutes, but fired five past Yale in the final 20 minutes of the period to seize a commanding lead going into halftime.

DiBiasi opened the scoring in the 26th minute, slamming home a one-touch finish from Kiki Pickett's inch-perfect cross. Pickett spotted DiBiasi's run into the box and curled a 30-yard ball into a dangerous area for DiBiasi to finish.

Five minutes later, Catarina Macario scored her eighth goal of the season to double the Cardinal's lead. Macario gathered a loose ball at the top of the area and pulled it back inside the left goal post to continue her seven-match scoring streak.

Sam Tran made it 3-0 in the 38th minute after some nice link-up play by DiBiasi and Beattie Goad. DiBiasi controlled the ball in the box, teeing up Goad's one-time cross to the back post, where Tran scored with a bullet header.

Jaye Boissiere continued the onslaught two minutes later, volleying home a bouncing ball from the top of the box. Michelle Xiao completed an overwhelming first half in the 43rd minute, making the score 5-0. Belle Briede played in Xiao on the right side of the box, and the junior smashed home a right-footed shot inside the far post.

The Cardinal kept its foot on the pedal to open the second half through goal scorer Averie Collins. Collins started the move, laying it off for Macario who dribbled to the end line and crossed to Andi Sullivan. Sullivan's one-touch cross found the foot of Collins, who redirected it inside the near post.

Madison Haley polished off the score line in the 74th minute. Haley, who was a menace to Yale's defense throughout, tapped in at the far post after Mariah Lee's run into the box. Lee collected the ball 30 yards out, beat three defenders to the end line and squared to Haley at the far post for a tap-in.

Stanford returns to action next week when it travels to face Santa Clara in a rematch of last year's NCAA Tournament second round. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. PT, and live streaming and statistics will be available at GoStanford.com.
