STANFORD, Calif. – The Stanford men's volleyball team will host Menlo College and UC Santa Cruz on Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. Admission is free.
The Cardinal will scrimmage Menlo College and UC Santa Cruz at 10 a.m. in both Burnham Pavilion and the Ford Center. Stanford will split into two squads – Cardinal and White. The teams will then switch to face the other opponent.
Former Cardinal Denny Falls (2011-14) is an assistant coach for Menlo College, which is in its first season as a varsity program.
Stanford returns 14 players from the 2017 roster, including All-Americans Evan Enriques and Kevin Rakestraw. Outside hitter Jordan Ewert was an All-MPSF honorable mention pick last season despite sitting out several matches due to injury.
Head coach John Kosty, who is in his 12th season at the helm of the program, welcomes four newcomers to the roster – Leo Henken, Jaylen Jasper, Kyler Presho-Hartung and JP Reilly. Cole Paullin is also back on the roster after missing the previous two seasons while serving a two-year church mission.
