STANFORD, Calif. – Coming off its highest point total of the season, the No. 23 Stanford women's gymnastics team looks to build on the momentum at No. 10 Washington on Saturday at 4 p.m. PT.
The meet will be live streamed by the Huskies.
The Cardinal came close to upsetting No. 23 Cal last Saturday night, falling 196.700-196.425. Stanford scored a campaign best 49.225 on vault and received a perfect 10 from senior Elizabeth Price on the floor exercise. Earlier this year, she recorded a 10 on bars.
Nationally, Price ranks No. 2 on floor (9.946) and No. 5 in all-around (39.550). Freshman Kyla Bryant ranks No. 33 in all-around (39.217).
While Washington is ranked higher, Stanford owns better season-highs on the vault, uneven bars and on floor exercise. Stringing all four events together is the biggest challenge for a young Cardinal squad that is gaining experience and getting healthier by the day.
