A Week to Remember

Standout Performers

Zach Ertz • TE • Philadelphia Eagles • Sixth season • @ZErtz_86

Ertz's fantastic 2018 season continued with another exceptional performance in Philadelphia's 27-20 loss against Dallas. Finishing with two touchdowns and 145 yards, Ertz's 16 targets were double any other Eagle, while his 14 receptions were nine more than his next closest teammate. His 789 yards are the most of any tight end in the NFL and his 75 receptions, the most by a tight end through nine games in NFL history, lead his position by 18.

Austin Hooper • TE • Atlanta Falcons • Third season • @AustinHooper18

Hooper set a career high with 10 receptions on a team-high 11 targets in Atlanta's 28-16 loss at Cleveland, finishing with 56 yards and one touchdown. Hooper's 46 receptions rank third among NFL tight ends while his three touchdowns tie a career high. Hooper is easily on pace to set career highs in virtually every offensive category.

Andrew Luck • QB • Indianapolis Colts • Seventh season • @ALBookClub

Luck became just the third NFL quarterback to throw for three or more touchdowns in six straight games with another outstanding showing in Indianapolis' 29-26 win against Jacksonville. Luck finished 21 of 29 with 285 yards and a 123.5 quarterback rating, while his 26 touchdowns rank second in the NFL. Partnering with first-year head coach Frank Reich behind an offensive line on the rise (10 sacks allowed in 2018), Luck and the Colts are one of the surprises of the 2018 season.

Blake Martinez • ILB • Green Bay Packers • Third season • @Big__Blake50

Martinez made a game-high nine tackles, all solo, in Green Bay's 31-12 win against Miami. Martinez's 89.9 grade from Pro Football Focus was a season high as he added two run stops while allowing just two catches for eight yards in coverage. On the season, Martinez's 84.4 grade from PFF ranks fourth out of 79 qualified linebackers.

Christian McCaffrey • RB • Carolina Panthers • Second season • @CMcCaffrey5

McCaffrey registered his first career three-touchdown performance, accounting for all of Carolina's touchdowns in a 52-21 loss at Pittsburgh. He caught all five targets with two touchdowns while leading the team in receptions (5) and receiving yards (61), also rushing 14 times for 77 yards and one score on 95 percent of offensive snaps. With seven touchdowns in his last three appearances, McCaffrey has cemented himself as a premier every-down back in the NFL.

Andrus Peat • T/G • New Orleans Saints • Fourth season • @AndrusPeat

Peat appeared on 75 percent of offensive snaps in New Orleans' 51-14 win at Cincinnati. He allowed one pressure on 26 pass-blocking snaps, helping the Saints gain 244 rushing yards on 47 attempts with three touchdowns. His performance for the 8-1 Saints was highlighted by a crushing downfield block on Mark Ingram's 28-yard receiving score in the second quarter.

Richard Sherman • CB • San Francisco 49ers • Eighth season @R_Sherman25

Sherman made three solo tackles, including a career-high two for loss, and broke up one pass while appearing on all 59 defensive snaps in San Francisco's 27-23 loss against the New York Giants on Monday night. In coverage, Sherman was targeted four times, allowing just two catches for 10 yards. On the season, Sherman has been targeted 24 times, surrendering 11 catches for 153 yards.
