Andrew Luck • QB • Indianapolis Colts • Seventh season • @ALBookClub
Luck continued his historic run of games with three or more touchdown passes, joining Tom Brady (10) and Peyton Manning (8) as the only players with seven consecutive such games after another sterling performance in Indianapolis' 38-10 win against Tennessee. Luck finished 23 of 29 passing for 297 yards, three touchdowns, zero interceptions, an 86.9 grade from Pro Football Focus and a 143.8 passer rating while the Colts, a team no one expected to be in the playoff hunt, improved to 5-5. Luck joins Aaron Rodgers and Dan Marino as the only players in NFL history with at least 160 touchdown passes in their first 80 games. He has four straight games with a quarterback rating of 85 or more, the longest single-season streak since 2013 (Manning), and he has not been sacked in 214 straight pass attempts, the longest such streak since 1991.
Andrew Luck belongs in the MVP discussion. He's essentially a more refined version of his old self.
