McCaffrey finished with 155 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns in Carolina's 42-28 win against Tampa Bay, playing all but one offensive snap. The second-year star carried 17 times for 79 yards and two rushing scores while catching five of six targets for a team-high 78 yards. On the season, McCaffrey has played an absurd 500 of 518 possible snaps and, together with new offensive coordinator Norv Turner and quarterback Cam Newton, has turned Carolina's offense into a juggernaut.

Reid continued his outstanding rookie season with another strong showing in Houston's sixth straight win, a 19-17 triumph at Denver. He led the Texans defense in tackles with nine, including eight solo, adding one fumble recovery and one special teams tackle while appearing on all 66 defensive snaps and 17 special teams snaps. Reid allowed two catches for four yards as the primary defender in coverage while his 74.8 season grade from Pro Football Focus ranks 22nd among 87 qualified NFL safeties.
