STANFORD, Calif. – In its second-best offensive output of the season, the No. 9 Stanford men's volleyball team swept Concordia, 25-17, 25-20, 25-16, Saturday, at Burnham Pavilion.
The Cardinal (9-5, 2-2 MPSF) hit .481 as a team, while holding Concordia (5-10, 1-2 MPSF) to a .220 clip. Stanford put down six aces, out blocked the Eagles 8.0-0.0, and held a 34-20 advantage in digs.
The win marked No. 200 for head coach John Kosty, who is now in his 13th season at the helm of the program. Kosty led Stanford to its second national title in 2010 and brought the Cardinal back to the finals in 2014.
Sophomore opposite Jaylen Jasper led all players with 16 kills on .520 hitting to go with six digs, two aces and two blocks. Senior outside hitter Jordan Ewert added 11 kills on a .350 attack percentage and two aces.

Junior setter Paul Bischoff controlled the offense with 35 assists and added 10 digs. It marks his second consecutive double-double and third in the past four matches. Redshirt senior libero Kyle Dagostino also had 10 digs against the Eagles for his fourth double-digit dig output of the season.
Outside hitter Leo Henken registered a season-high nine kills on .444 hitting for the Cardinal. The sophomore also tallied three blocks, two digs and an ace. Junior middle blocker Stephen Moye hit .625 with five kills on eight errorless swings to go with a match-high five blocks. Sophomore Kyler Presho chipped in with four kills, a block and an ace.

The Cardinal subbed in JP Reilly, Mason Tufuga and Eli Wopat as serving specialists throughout the match. Stanford won the sideout battle 76 percent to 54 percent.
Concordia was led by junior outside hitter Jordan Hoppe's 12 kills on .435 hitting. Sophomore libero Addison Enriques, the younger brother of Cardinal All-American Evan Enriques ('18), finished with six digs.
Stanford remains on The Farm next week, playing host to Grand Canyon for an MPSF matchup on Thursday and a nonconference contest with UC San Diego on Saturday.
