STANFORD, Calif. – No. 12 Stanford got back to its winning ways with a 4-0 victory over Cal Poly Thursday afternoon in the regular-season home finale at Taube Tennis Stadium.
 
The Cardinal (13-4) posted its ninth shutout of the season, blanking the Mustangs (9-7).
 
Stanford captured the doubles point with a 6-1 victory from Jack Barber and William Genesen at No. 2 and 6-4 win from Alexandre Rotsaert and Timothy Sah at No. 3.
 
The Cardinal continued its momentum in singles, winning the first set in five of the six matches. Michael Genender gave Stanford its second point with a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 6 – his third straight victory.
 
Kumar inched the Cardinal closer with a 6-4, 6-2 win at No. 4.
 
Sah won his fifth consecutive match, and more importantly clinched the victory for Stanford. He posted a 6-3, 6-3 win at No. 5 to seal it for the Cardinal.
 
Stanford jumps back into Pac-12 play, traveling to Salt Lake City, Utah, to face Utah on Sunday at
1 p.m.
