Seven Named All-Academic

STANFORD, Calif. – Seven Stanford beach volleyball student-athletes were named to the Pac-12 All-Academic teams, as announced by the conference Friday.
 
Shannon Richardson and Kat Anderson each earned first-team honors for the Cardinal.
 
Courtney Bowen, Morgan Hentz, and Blake Sharp each picked up second-team recognition for Stanford. Sophomores Amelia Smith and Sunny Villapando rounded out the academic honors for the Cardinal, each earning honorable mention accolades.
 
To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and appear in at least 50 percent of their team's games.
