STANFORD, Calif. – Thirty one Stanford swimmers and divers earned Academic All-America honors from the Collegiate Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).
Stanford's 25 total first-team selections were the second-most combined total in the nation behind Emory's 26 – on the women's side, Stanford led the nation with 18 first-team honorees while the Cardinal men's team earned 11 Academic All-America nods, including seven first-team selections.
Zoe Bartel (undeclared), Megan Byrnes (management science and engineering), Katie Drabot (human biology), Ella Eastin (human biology), Amalie Fackenthal (undeclared), Brooke Forde (undlecared), Anya Goeders (undeclared), Daria Lenz (undeclared), Lucie Nordmann (undeclared), Mia Paulsen (undeclared), Allie Raab (undeclared), Taylor Ruck (undeclared), Carolina Sculti (undeclared), Leah Stevens (human biology), Alex Szekely (management science and engineering), Morgan Tankersly (undeclared), Erin Voss (computer science) and Grace Zhao (computer science) earned first-team honors with Ashley Volpenhein (management science and engineering) and Kim Williams (psychology) picking up honorable mentions.
On the men's side, Matt Anderson (human biology), Conor Casey (undeclared), Mason Gonzalez (undeclared), Matthew Hirschberger (undeclared), Brennan Pastorek (undeclared), Hank Poppe (mechanical engineering) and True Sweetser (history) were Stanford's first-team honorees to go with honorable mentions for Glen Cowand (undeclared), David Madej (undeclared), Grant Shoults (human biology) and Jack Walsh (management science and engineering.
