Gymnasts Gearing Up

2020 Schedule Opens in a new window

STANFORD, Calif. – The Stanford women's gymnastics team will host four meets during the 2020 season, the Pac-12 Conference announced on Wednesday. Five will be televised on Pac-12 Networks.
 
The Cardinal starts competition on Jan. 4 at the California Grand in Anaheim, Calif., against Cal, UCLA and Oklahoma, then competes at the NorCal Classic in Davis, Calif. on Jan. 12 against Cal, UC Davis, San Jose State and Sacramento State.
 
Following a trip to Cal on Jan. 19 (Pac-12 Networks, 4 p.m.), Stanford makes its home debut against UCLA on Jan. 27. The Cardinal hits the road again to face Oregon State on Feb. 2 (Pac-12 Networks, 1 p.m.), then returns for home meets against Washington on Feb. 10 (Pac-12 Networks, 6 p.m.) and Cal on Feb. 16 (Pac-12 Networks, 3 p.m.).
 
On Feb. 21, Stanford will participate in the Perfect 10 Challenge in Oklahoma City, Okla. against Oklahoma.
 
The Cardinal resumes conference play at Arizona on Feb. 23 (Pac-12 Networks, 11 a.m.) and concludes its home campaign on March 2 against Arizona State. Stanford wraps up the regular season at Utah on March 6.
 
The Pac-12 Championship is March 21 in Salt Lake City, Utah, and the NCAA Championships are April 17-18 in Fort Worth, Texas.
 
In 2019, women's gymnastics became a ticketed sport at Stanford for the first time in school history. The Cardinal drew a program record 6,000 spectators for its home meet against UCLA at Maples Pavilion.

All home meets will be contested at Maples and tickets are expected to go on sale in early November. Dates and meet times subject to change.
 
The Cardinal roster is comprised of 13 returnees and four freshmen.
 
Junior Kyla Bryant heads the returnees. Last year, she won 17 individual titles, with seven coming in all-around.
