Appearing on 89 percent of offensive snaps, Ertz hauled in nine of 13 targets for 91 yards and two scores. Ertz, who set an NFL record for tight ends with 116 receptions in 2018, leads tight ends with 79 reception sin 2019.
The only tight ends in NFL history with more 9-catch games than Zach Ertz [19] are Tony Gonzalez [25] and Jason Witten [21].

Appearing in all but one of the Panthers' 70 offensive snaps, McCaffrey already has the eighth-most receptions in franchise history. McCaffrey leads the NFL with 1,946 yards from scrimmage, joining Eric Dickerson, Ezekiel Elliott, Edgerrin James and LaDainian Tomlinson as the only players in NFL history to surpass 1,900 scrimmage yards in two of his first three seasons.

In what many consider the best regular-season game of 2019, Sherman led San Francisco's defense with seven tackles, all solo and including one for loss, to go with one pass defensed on 88 percent of defensive snaps in a 48-46 win at New Orleans. In coverage, Sherman was targeted five times, allowing four catches for 33 yards, including just six after the catch. It was just the third time this season a quarterback has thrown Sherman's direction at least five times.
