Christian McCaffrey • RB • Carolina Panthers • Third season • @run__cmc
Days after being named to the Pro Bowl, McCaffrey became the first running back in NFL history with multiple 100-reception seasons, hauling in all 15 balls thrown his way for 119 yards to go with 54 rushing yards on 13 carries in Carolina's 38-6 loss at Indianapolis. McCaffrey's 15 receptions were a franchise record while his 109 receptions exceed his previous single-season NFL record of 107. Despite the Panthers' losing streak, McCaffrey leads the NFL in all-purpose yards (2,294) by 564. With one game remaining, his season total is the 11th-most in NFL history – he would need 215 yards from scrimmage in Week 17 to tie Chris Johnson's all-time record.
