Cardinal Posts Third Shutout

STANFORD, Calif. - No. 8 Stanford blanked Pacific 4-0 on Saturday afternoon at Taube Family Tennis Stadium, closing out a six-match homestand.

Stanford (6-1) posted its third shutout of the season, easily capturing the doubles point before posting three straight-set victories in singles.

Leading 1-0, Filip Kolasinski delivered a 6-1, 6-0 win at the No. 5 spot before Alexandre Rotsaert prevailed 6-1, 6-1 at the No. 2 position.

Kento Perera provided the clincher with a 6-1, 6-3 triumph on court six.

Stanford next competes at the ITA National Team Indoor Championships on Feb. 13-17 in Madison, Wisconsin.
