LOS ANGELES – No. 19 Stanford traveled to Southern California for the Pac-12 South Invitational this weekend, where it split its games on day one, beating Washington 4-1 but falling to No. 5 USC by the same margin.
Charlie Ekstrom and Sunny Villapando went undefeated on the day, winning their match against USC (15-21, 21-16, 15-11) and Washington (21-16, 23-21).
Pac-12 action continues tomorrow when Stanford (4-7) faces Oregon and Arizona State in day two of the Pac-12 South Invitational.
