LA JOLLA, Calif. – Taking the court in tandems, Stanford men's tennis had eight student-athletes compete at the Pacific Coast Men's Doubles Championship over the weekend. The pair of Filip Kolasinski and Alexandre Rotsaert led the effort, advancing to the round of 16, while all four teams picked up at least two victories.

Kolasinski and Rotsaert breezed through the first three rounds, but fell to the Cal duo of Draper and Hoffman in the round of 16 in three sets, 6-7 (5), 6-1, 6-1. Christian Kontaxis and Neel Rajesh reached the round of 32 after 8-1 and 8-3 wins, respectively, but fell to the pair of Smith and Smith, 8-5, to close the day.

Kento Perera and Dean Stratakos went 3-2 overall, reaching the consolation quarterfinals after three consecutive wins after an opening round defeat. Tomas Kopczynski and Timothy Sah tried to make a similar run, winning two straight in the consolation bracket, but withdrew in the fourth consolation round.
