LOS ANGELES – Returning home after a pair of Southern California matinees, Stanford men's tennis dropped a non-conference clash with USC, 7-0, on Tuesday at Marks Stadium. Stanford falls to 2-2 on the season with the result.
The Trojans picked up wins on courts one and two in doubles action to take an early 1-0 lead, and continued its momentum into singles play to earn the win. Alexandre Rotsaert and Timothy Sah rallied from first set losses with second set wins, but neither could get the result across the line. Rotsaert's tiebreaking third set ended 12-10 after a series of match points.
Stanford has a quick turnaround, hosting No. 6 TCU on Friday, March 26 at Taube Family Tennis Center. First serve is set for 11 a.m.
