STANFORD, Calif. – Stanford men's tennis finished off its unbeaten weekend, downing No. 17 Arizona on Sunday afternoon, 6-1. The Cardinal improves to 6-3 this season, and holds an unblemished Pac-12 record at 3-0.
 
Stanford took the doubles point for an early 1-0 lead, doing so for the third-straight match. Axel Geller and Neel Rajesh were the first to finish with a 6-2 edge, while Arthur Fery and Alexandre Rotsaert were close behind with an identical score.
 
Fery was ruthless in his singles match, besting 15th-ranked Gustaf Strom 6-1, 6-0. He has a team-leading eight singles wins this year, while the win was the first of his career over a ranked opponent. Geller closed out his opponent in straight sets, while Sah earned the clincher on court five, his second of the season.
 
Rotsaert and Genesen added wins on court three and six in third-set tiebreakers.
 
Stanford continues Pac-12 play when it hosts Cal on Tuesday, April 6 at 1 p.m.
