SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Stanford women's swimming and diving (2-0, 1-0 Pac-12) opened Pac-12 competition with a 192-105 victory at Utah, Friday. The Cardinal improved to 9-1 in conference openers under the Paul A. Violich Director of Women's Swimming, Greg Meehan.

Stanford swept both relays and both diving events, and one all but one individual swimming race for another dominant showing. The quartet of Regan Smith, Brooke Forde, Lucie Nordmann and Torri Huske won the 200 medley relay in 1:42.11. Nordmann and Smith came back to join Taylor Ruck and Anya Goeders on the winning 400 free relay team.

In the diving pool, Carolina Sculti and Daria Lenz went 1-2 on both the 1-meter and 3-meter, while Lauren Burch joined the duo for a sweep on the 3-meter. Sculti scored 291.98 and 329.55, respectively.

Huske was victorious in the 100 free (50.67) and the 200 IM (2:04.91), and she was second in the 200 fly (2:02.97). Smith won both the 100 back (53.05) and 100 fly (54.03). Smith lowered her season-best on the 100 back which stands as a NCAA provisional mark.

In the distance events, Morgan Tankersley (10:22.06) and Brooke Forde (4:56.63) were victorious in 1000 free and 500 free, respectively. Ruck won the 200 free, while Alex Crisera won the 200 back. Zoe Bartel went 1:04.30 to claim the win in the 100 breast. Stanford claimed the win in 50 free behind Anya Goeders 23.24.

The Cardinal will return to action at the NC State/GAC Invite, Nov. 18-20.
