The Cardinal last raced at the Big Ten Invitational April 15-16. While racing on the course of the 2022 NCAA Rowing Championships, No. 2 Stanford won all but three races entered throughout the weekend and secured wins in multiple races over four top-10 programs.
Stanford dominated the waters at the Pac-12 Invitational in Henderson, Nev., April 9-10, winning all of the events they competed in. Saturday saw the Cardinal race against USC, SMU and Penn, winning each effort by five seconds or more. Stanford also met Clemson in the 2V4 battle, finishing before the Tigers and USC by 18 or more seconds. Stanford took on RV UCLA, RV Clemson and RV Iowa on Sunday, earning even more decisive victories on the final day of competition. In each of the four Sunday races the Cardinal entered, Stanford crossed the finish line ahead of its competitors by at least 11 seconds.
The weekend before, the Cardinal topped both California and UC Irvine Saturday, April 2. Stanford opened the day by taking on the Golden Bears, topping its Bay-Area foe with a time of 6:43.00. Following the victory over Cal, Stanford took on UC Irvine and earned a decisive victory, crossing the finish line almost forty seconds ahead of the Anteaters.
