STANFORD, Calif. – Twelve Stanford runners were named to the All-West Region team by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, based on their placings at the NCAA regional cross country championship meet on Friday.
The Cardinal men and women captured regional team titles in the Seattle area to qualify automatically to the NCAA Championships on Saturday in Stillwater, Oklahoma. The victories marked the second consecutive regional team sweep for the Cardinal and third consecutive Stanford women's regional championship.
Stanford's all-region women and their places: Zofia Dudek (third), Lucy Jenks (15th), Audrey DaDamio (18th), Audrey Suarez (19th), Riley Stewart (21st), and Abi Archer (25th).
Stanford's all-region men: Charles Hicks (third), Ky Robinson (fifth), Meika Beaudoin-Rousseau (sixth), Devin Hart (eighth), Thomas Boyden (23rd), and Evan Burke (25th).
This is the second consecutive all-region honor for Dudek, Jenks, Suarez, Beaudoin-Rousseau, Hart, Hicks, and Robinson.
