WATERVILLE, Maine - No. 11 Stanford closed out its four-match road swing with a 6-3 victory at No. 20 Colby on Sunday morning.
Navigating through a stretch that featured five matches over a five-day span, the Cardinal (3-4) picked up three victories on its road trip through Maine.
Playing short-handed with a lineup featuring seven underclassmen, Stanford's 6-3 win at Bates College on Friday was its first since defeating Drexel 5-4 in the consolation semifinals of the CSA National Championships back on Feb. 22, 2020.
In all three of its victories over the weekend, Stanford controlled the top six spots of the lineup, receiving wins from Si Yi Ma, Khushi Kukadia, Lucia Bicknell, Mary Duffy, Leah McGillicuddy and Isabella Rolfe.
Si Yi Ma remained unbeaten through seven matches at the No. 1 spot of the lineup, building off her momentum from 2022 in which she produced a team-best 14-1 record while becoming Stanford's first Holleran Cup champion since Madeleine Gill in 2013.
Stanford returns to action on Jan. 19 against Cornell.
