Seven Earn IRA All-Academic Honors

STANFORD, Calif. – The Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) Board of Stewards announced seven Stanford lightweight rowers have been named to the IRA All-Academic squad, excelling both on the water and in the classroom. 

In order to qualify for the honor, athletes needed to maintain a 3.35 GPA or higher, be of at least sophomore standing academically, be an institutional letterwinner, and have competed at the 2023 IRA Championships.

The Cardinal women's lightweight program finished sixth at the IRA Championships, led by a second-place finish for Stanford in the varsity 8+ and a seventh-place result for the Cardinal in the varsity 4+ race.
