Over the course of the NFL regular season, which ended on Sunday, 32 Stanford alums were on NFL rosters, 28 saw action, and 19 started at least one game on offense or defense.
Thirteen alums were on teams that advanced to the playoffs, with nine of those players active in Week 18.
Houston starting quarterback Davis Mills passed to tight end Jordan Akins for a 28-yard touchdown with 50 seconds left to give the Texans a 32-31 victory at Indianapolis. Mills threw three TD passes while completing 22 of 38 throws for 298 yards. In his second season, Mills played in 15 games with 15 starts. He completed 292 of 479 passes (61.0 percent) for 3,118 yards. He had 17 touchdown passes and 15 interceptions, with a 78.8 passer rating.

For the Colts, starting inside linebacker Bobby Okereke had five tackles and earned a 74.3 run-defense grade from Pro Football Focus. In his fourth season, Okereke played in 17 games with 16 starts. He had career highs in tackles (151), solo tackles (99), and tackles for loss (six). He had five games of 10 or more tackles. Okereke was 10th in the NFL in total tackles and ninth in solo tackles.

San Francisco starting running back Christian McCaffrey rushed 10 times for 45 yards and three receptions for 34 in the 49ers' 38-13 victory over visiting Arizona. McCaffrey's 21-yard catch and run in the first quarter gave the 49ers a 7-6 lead they would not relinquish. In his sixth season, McCaffrey was acquired from Carolina in a midseason trade. He finished with 1,880 yards from scrimmage and 13 touchdowns. He rushed for 1,139 yards – his third 1,000-yard rushing season – on 244 carries and caught 85 passes for 741.
McCaffrey's 1,210 scrimmage yards with the 49ers are the most by a midseason acquisition in NFL history. His 1,880 total scrimmage yards rank third in the NFL this season and his 13 TDs -- eight rushing and five receiving -- rank fourth.

Kansas City starting safety Justin Reid had six tackles, a sack, and two passes defensed in the Chiefs' 31-13 victory at Las Vegas on Saturday. Reid earned grades of 82.4 in tackling and 80.6 in pass rush from Pro Football Focus. In his fifth season, Reid started all 17 games and had 83 tackles with seven passes defensed. He had four QB hits, one sack, and two tackles for loss.
Jacksonville starting left tackle Walker Little played every offensive snap and did not allow a sack or a QB hit while earning a team-high 80.8 pass-blocking grade in the Jaguars' 20-16 victory over visiting Tennessee. Little, in his second season, played 17 games and started the final three.

For the Titans, tight end Austin Hooper had four catches for 38 yards. In his seventh season, Hooper played in 17 games with two starts and had 41 catches for 444 yards and two touchdowns.
Washington defensive end Casey Toohill had three solo tackles – two on defense and one on special teams – and earned a 72.6 run-defense grade from Pro Football Focus in a 26-6 victory over visiting Dallas. In his third season, Toohill played in 16 games and had 25 tackles, including 13 solo. He had two fumble recoveries, a sack, six QB hits, and two tackles for loss.
For the Cowboys, starting tight end Dalton Schultz had four receptions for 33 yards. In his fifth season, Schultz started all of his 15 games. He had 57 catches for 577 yards and five touchdowns.
Atlanta starting center Drew Dalman played every offensive snap and did not allow a sack or a QB hit and earned a 70.9 run-blocking grade from Pro Football Focus in the Falcons' 30-17 victory against visiting Tampa Bay. In his second season, Dalman started all 17 games and did not allow a sack.
Carolina defensive end Henry Anderson had a tackle and played 24 defensive snaps and three special teams snaps in the Panthers' 10-7 victory at New Orleans. In his eighth season, Anderson had 18 tackles, including three for loss, in 11 games.
Denver starting left tackle Cameron Fleming played every offensive snap and five special teams snaps in the Broncos' 31-28 victory over the visiting Los Angeles Chargers. In his ninth season, Fleming started and played in 15 games.
Foster Sarell played 13 snaps at offensive guard for the Chargers. A rookie, Sarell played seven games, starting three.
Cincinnati receiver Trenton Irwin had a reception for 12 yards in the Bengals' 27-16 victory against visiting Baltimore. In his fourth season, Irwin had career highs in games (nine), starts (two), catches (15), yards (231), and touchdowns (four).
Bengals' teammate Michael Thomas played 70 percent of special teams snaps. In his 10th season, Thomas, a safety and special teams specialist, had 12 tackles in 16 games.
Seattle starting tight end Colby Parkinson caught two passes for 47 yards in the Seahawks' 19-16 overtime victory over the visiting Los Angeles Rams. In his third season, Parkinson had career highs in games (17), starts (two), catches (25), yards (322), and touchdowns (two).
Minnesota starting nose tackle Harrison Phillips had a tackle in the Vikings' 29-13 victory at Chicago. In his fifth season, Phillips started all 17 games and had a career-high 59 tackles with 1.5 sacks and six QB hits.
New York Jets defensive tackle Solomon Thomas had a tackle, a QB hit, and a QB hurry in an 11-6 loss at Miami. In his sixth season, Thomas had 26 tackles in 17 games. He had 0.5 sacks, two tackles for loss, and four QB hits.
New Orleans cornerback Paulson Adebo and offensive guard Andrus Peat, Houston defensive tackle Thomas Booker, and Miami outside linebacker Brennan Scarlett were inactive.
The Saints' Adebo, in his second season, played in 13 games, starting 12. He had 60 tackles, had seven passes defensed, and two tackles for loss.
The Saints' Peat, in his eighth season, started all 11 games that he played.
The Texans' Booker, a rookie, played in 10 games and started one. He had 15 tackles, a QB pressure, and 0.5 sacks.
The Dolphins' Scarlett, in his seventh season, played one game.
Tennessee quarterback Kevin Hogan, San Francisco linebacker Curtis Robinson (re-signed Dec. 27), and Seattle receiver Connor Wedington were on practice squads.
The Titans' Hogan, a three-year veteran, and the Seahawks' Wedington, a rookie, did not play. Robinson, in his third season, played three games for the 49ers.
New England punter Jake Bailey and running back Ty Montgomery, Arizona tight end Zach Ertz, Dallas receiver Simi Fehoko, and New York Jets' offensive guard Nate Herbig were on injured reserve.
The Patriots' Bailey, in his fourth season, averaged 42.1 yards per punt in his nine games.
The Patriots' Montgomery, in his fifth season, was injured in the season opener in which he caught three passes for 15 yards and rushed twice for minus-two yards and did not play again.
The Cardinals' Ertz, in his 10th season, started each of his 10 games and had 47 catches for 406 yards and four touchdowns.
The Cowboys' Fehoko, in his second season, had three catches for 24 yards in five games.
The Jets' Herbig, in his fourth season, started in each of his 11 games.
JJ Arcega-Whiteside, a three-year veteran receiver, was on Seattle's practice squad to start the season, but did not play.
Tight end Tucker Fisk, a rookie tight end, was released from Atlanta's practice squad on December 27. He did not play.
Linebacker Blake Martinez, in his fifth season, had 20 tackles in four games for the Las Vegas Raiders. He started twice.
