PHILADELPHIA - The Card topped No. 22 Dickinson College today, 9-0, to start the 2024 Mid-Atlantic Squash Conference Championships strong.
Stanford swept Dickinson with nine 3-0 results. Senior All-American Si Yi Ma won to move to 3-1 in MASC Championship play, after going 2-1 at last season's conference tournament.
Three of the nine wins came from Cardinal freshmen, led by Madison Ho on the 2's court, Yuvna Gupta on the 4's and Maeve Baker on the 5's.
The Card is back for day two tomorrow, taking on No. 10 Drexel at 1:00 p.m. PT. A win would put Stanford into the final on Sunday, after the Card finished third in the MASC last season.
