- No. 19 Stanford begins its path to the 2024 NCAA Championships Friday, competing at the NCAA Regionals in Berkeley, Calif., in a Second Round quad meet against host No. 3 California, No. 14 Auburn, and the winner of the first round meet between San Jose State and Southern Utah.
- The Cardinal enters with the third-best NQS of the evening session and will begin the meet on beam, scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Start order of the meet was randomly assigned, with the team with the highest NQS starting on vault, second-highest starting on floor, third-highest starting on beam and fourth-highest starting on bars. The meet will be broadcast on ESPN+ with Bart Conner and Kathy Johnson Clarke on the call. The broadcast will include a two boxes on screen side-by-side to show every gymnast and routine throughout the entire competition.
- Backed by its best score at a conference championship meet since 2015, then-no. 20 Stanford won the afternoon session of the 2024 Pac-12 Championships Saturday, March 23, besting No. 21 Arizona State, No. 22 Arizona and No. 27 Washington inside Maverik Center. At the conclusion of the second session, Stanford finished the meet in fourth place with its team score of 197.175 behind then-No. 5 Utah, then-No. 11 UCLA, and then-No. 2 California, scoring 198.000, 197.875, and 197.325, respectively. The Cardinal's finish at the final Pac-12 Championships is its best under Rodgers Family Director of Women's Gymnastics Tabitha Yim and is the program's highest score and finish since its 197.175 for third-place at the 2015 Pac-12 Championships.
- Two Cardinal left the Pac-12 Championships with hardware, as both fifth-year Chloe Widner and Anna Roberts each earned second-place finishes with scores of 9.950 on beam and floor, respectively.
- Widner collected multiple postseason awards in the past week, highlighted by her 2024 Pac-12 Specialist of the Year Award and her 2024 WCGA Regular Season First Team All-American Honors on Beam. 2024 has been a special season for the fifth year, as the team captain scored 9.900-or-better five times on bars and six times on both beam and floor for a total of 17 9.900-or-better performances throughout the season. Widner set new career-high efforts on both beam and floor of 10.000 and 9.975, respectively, on March 10 against California, contributing to Stanford's best home score since 2004 of 197.975 in her final appearances at Maples Pavilion. As of March 25, Widner ranks in the top 10 of the Pac-12 Conference on bars, beam, and floor, one of only six conference gymnasts to rank in the top 10 of three or more events in 2024. She holds national qualifying scores (NQS) of 9.900 or better on bars (9.905), beam (9.950), and floor (9.925) entering the 2024 NCAA Regional Championships.
- The Cardinal enters regionals with its best national ranking (last week of the regular season) since the 2018 season, up one spot from a year ago (entered No. 20 in the nation) and nine spots from the 2022 season. Since the 2022 season, the Cardinal's final regular-season NQS has grown .630, up from 196.415 in 2022 to 197.045 in 2024.
