10 Named MPSF All-Academic

STANFORD, Calif. - 10 Stanford swimmers were recognized as MPSF All-Academic selections, the conference announced on Friday. Each Cardinal swimmer that qualified as being at least in their second year on The Farm earned the accolade.

To be named to the MPSF All-Academic Team, athletes must own a 3.00 or better cumulative grade point average, be a sophomore in academic standing, have competed for a full year at their current institution, and have competed in fifty percent or more of the institution's competitions.

Miko Begossi, Yujin Chang, Ivy Davis, Emily Ding, Yara Elian, Nicole Goot, Natalie Greenfield, Atira O'Neil, Lindi Schroeder, and Emmanuella Tchakmakjian all were lauded with the award. Senior and captain Tchakmakjian owns the highest GPA among all artistic swimming athletes in the conference, with a 4.026.

The Cardinal's 10 athletes were the second most among all schools in the conference.
