STANFORD, Calif. – Twenty-eight Stanford track and field athletes were named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic team.
In addition, both Stanford teams earned All-Academic team honors – the women with a 3.672 grade-point average and the men with a team GPA of 3.628.
The Cardinal women have 17 earning All-Academic honors and the men have 11.
All-Academic honors can achieved because of performances during the indoor or the outdoor seasons combined with a 3.25 cumulative GPA.
For indoors, the athlete must have finished the season ranked among the top 96 in the nation in a championship individual event, or the top 48 on a relay. For outdoors, the athlete must have reached the NCAA Prelims or the NCAA Championships.
Among the Stanford athletes earning All-Academic honors were 2024 NCAA indoor and outdoor women’s 800 champion and 2024 U.S. Olympian Juliette Whittaker, and women’s outdoor 800 runner-up Roisin Willis.
Ky Robinson, a two-time NCAA outdoor distance champion in 2023, also was honored.
Eight Cardinal freshmen earned All-Academic honors. For the women: distance runners Amy Bunnage and Sophia Kennedy, javelin thrower Abbey Moody, and pole vaulter Sky Schuller. For men: sprinter Will Floyd, and distance runners Milo Skapinsky, and twins Leo and Lex Young.
