BERKELEY, Calif. - No. 2 Stanford heads to Berkeley this weekend for four games at the MPSF Invitational. The slate opens on Friday with a rematch against No. 10 Long Beach State, before a doubleheader Saturday against No. 12 UC Davis and No. 3 USC.
The invitational is divided into two brackets - the Card will play each of the opposing three teams in bracket B on Friday and Saturday. On Sunday, Stanford take on an opponent from bracket A, which includes No. 1 UCLA, No. 7 Princeton, No. 15 UC San Diego and host No. 6 California.

FAMILIAR FOES » The Cardinal has already beaten both Long Beach St. and UC Davis this season. Last season, Stanford lost the season series to USC 2-1, with two of the three games taking an overtime period to settle.
