Cardinal will have eight home games in addition to contests against Indiana, LSU and Ohio State

STANFORD, Calif. – Eight games in Maples Pavilion, including early-November dates against Washington State and Gonzaga, round out Stanford’s 2024-25 nonconference schedule, which was unveiled in full on Thursday.

The home dates are in addition to three already-announced games away from The Farm – Nov. 17 at Indiana, Dec. 5 at LSU as part of the SEC/ACC Challenge, and Dec. 20 against Ohio State for the Invisalign Bay Area Women’s Classic at Chase Center in San Francisco.

Tip times and complete broadcast information along with Stanford’s inaugural ACC schedule will be released in the coming weeks. Women’s basketball season ticket memberships, starting at $230, are now available for the 2024-25 season. The regular season gets underway against Le Moyne on Monday, Nov. 4, before the Cardinal welcomes three familiar foes in Washington State (Nov. 7), Gonzaga (Nov. 10) and UC Davis (Nov. 13) ahead of its trip to Bloomington, Ind.

Following its date with the Hoosiers, Stanford returns home for three against Morgan State on Friday, Nov. 22, Cal Poly on Monday, Nov. 25, and UC San Diego on Friday, Nov. 29.

The Cardinal is at LSU on Thursday, Dec. 5 and then will take its customary, two-week break for final exams before returning with a Monday, Dec. 16 home game against UTSA.

Stanford’s nonconference slate concludes with its neutral-site contest against Ohio State on Friday, Dec. 20.

The Cardinal kicks things off with a home exhibition on Wednesday, October 30 against Cal State LA.

In 2024-25, head coach Kate Paye will lead Stanford into its first year in the ACC with a roster that returns two starters and nine letterwinners to a squad that went 30-6 last season and finished ranked ninth in the country. A two-time WBCA Assistant Coach of the Year during 17 seasons on Tara VanDerveer’s staff, Paye was hired to lead her alma mater on April 16 following VanDerveer’s retirement.

In addition to its nine returners, the Cardinal adds five newcomers, three nationally-ranked freshmen in Shay Ijiwoye (ESPN HoopGurlz No. 53), Harper Peterson (No. 87) and Kennedy Umeh (No. 44), and a pair of transfers in Tess Heal, the 2023 West Coast Conference Newcomer of the Year at Santa Clara, and Mary Ashley Stevenson, the 2024 Big Ten Media Freshman of the Year at Purdue.

The team recently returned from a 10-day tour of Italy, which included stops in Rome, Siena, Florence and Venice, and wins over San Raffaele (118-37), PF Umbertide (112-62) and Thermal Basket (92-47).
