STANFORD, Calif. — Stanford Athletics announced its brand new podcast this week. The TreeCast, hosted by Voice of the Cardinal, Troy Clardy, goes inside Stanford Athletics with a behind-the-scenes look at the Cardinal.
Fans will hear weekly interviews with coaches and student-athletes, covering the biggest storylines on The Farm. New episodes will be released every Wednesday. The first episode of The TreeCast is highlighted by an interview with Setsuko Ishiyama Director of Women's Basketball Tara VanDerveer as she closes in on the college basketball all-time wins record among head coaches.
Clardy was named the lead play-by-play voice for the Stanford football and men's basketball in advance of the 2023-24 season and has been calling games at Stanford for five years, in addition to over 10 seasons with the Pac-12 Network. He has hosted his own Stanford podcast since 2015.
