STANFORD, Calif. - Three current Cardinal swimmers and a pair of alumni are heading to Singapore this week for the 2025 World Aquatics Championships, slated to take place on July 26-August 3 at the Singapore Sports Hub.
Torri Huske headlines the bunch of Stanford actives with four events on the week, as the three-time Olympic gold medalist will compete in the 50 free, 100 free, 100 fly, and 4x200 freestyle relay.
Caroline Bricker will compete in her first World Championships in the 200 fly, after turning in a lifetime-best 2:05.80 to win the event at the Toyota National Championships in early June. Meanwhile, Stanford sophomore Levenia Sim will represent the host nation of Singapore in the 50 and 100 back.
On the alumni side, Katie Ledecky will once again compete in her three signature events: the 400, 800, and 1500 free. Simone Manuel is set to make her fifth World Championship appearance in the 4x100 freestyle relay.
